Thursday 13th of September 2007 [ ???????, ??? २७, २०६४ ]
The meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee held on 12 September 2007 unanimously endorsed the appointment of Dr. K.B. Rokaya as one of the commissioners of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). His name was recommended by the Constitutional Council of Nepal to appoint him as one of the Commissioner of the NHRC.
It is a matter of great pride to the Christian Community of Nepal that a Christian has been placed in such a prestigious position.
